Lifting and positioning pallets at extreme heights requires precision work. A small mistake can cause damage to the pallet or your racking system. With an Orlaco camera system every obstacle in your warehouse can be clearly seen on the monitor.
Positioning a load with a forklift can be a tricky operation, especially when it is equipped with an attachment such as a rotator or clamp. And also the extreme height at which a lot of forklifts, reach- and narrow-aisle trucks are working makes positioning of the load more or less a guessing game for the operator. However, when a camera monitor system is used he/she is able to work safer, faster and more efficient.
When backing up the operator has to twist her/her body and positioning a load makes him/her look upwards continously, causing back-and neck strains. The use of an Orlaco camera system will dramatically reduce these strains and prevent back- and neck injuries.
It is possible to use several camera systems on one forklift and while backing up the operator can switch automatically between cameras.
Orlaco's Colour Compact Camera (model CCC) is especially designed for use in circumstances where bumps, shocks and vibrations are common. The camera shows the working area in detail creating a much easier and more enjoyable job for the operator.
It is very important that forklift operators have full visibility of the area behind and around their forklifts. Far too many accidents still occur simply due to the fact that forklift operators do not see people or obstacles in their way. Thanks to the Orlaco camera systems the operator has full visibility of all movements around his/her forklift. When equipped with more than one camera system, the operator can automatically switch from, for instance, positioning a load to backing up.
